The madressas (islamic religious schools) are going full blast cranking out religious fanatics and suicide bombers. We're killing these fanatics in Iraq about as fast as they are flowing out of the madressas. This is a process that started many years (decades) prior to 9/11 and there was already a huge pool of these people. The worst of these madressas are in Saudi Arabia but there are some bad ones in Pakistan, Egypt, Yemen and Syria. Conquering and occupying Saudi Arabia and these other countries is not an option (we don't have the resources). However assassinating the mullahs running these madressas is a practical alternative. I would be surprised if this process has not already started.
