Hi All,
Looks like someone on the space arena board named Donald Ernst is organizing a group to stop VSE. I wonder how long it will get to Mars is NASA starts working on RLVs again...

"The debate on RLV vs VSE is intractable. No one is going to change the minds of these redux supporters.NASA can do no wrong in thier minds. If VSE is allowed to stand it could mean the end of manned space flight via a Apollo type public backlash. If a RLV is built instead it will certainly lower cost. How much I don't know, if it just cuts it to only 50% of a shuttle launch we have gained something.Mabe it would take a third generation vehicle to do what we really want but at least we will have made a start.I can see whats needed right now is a organized group like the space frontier foundation or some other space advocate group to focus on the RLV issue, ethier a existing group or a new one designated for the purpose.Mabe I'll start one."
I wonder if he ever read Bob Zubrin article on how the CEV/HLV will be cheaper then Shuttle?
