Will any of ever be able to speak normally again?

Some of us, interested and enthused about the exploration of space in all its forms, are not so deeply immersed in the jargon to be familiar with the acronyms thrown around on this board without explanation.

[Not speaking about your post specifically, LarryJ... I understand its intent, if not its alphabet soup.]

But it sure would be nice -- not to mention easier to comprehend, and perhaps even comment upon -- if some folks would either provide a glossary, or spell out the acronyms once within their posts. Researchers in the sciences are required to provide that courtesy to their readers, by the journals in which they publish, even though their audiences are other specialists in the same fields.

So, how 'bout it, guys? One of the philosophical reasons for this board's existence is to educate the willing. How do you intend to manage that by obscuring your subjects behind shortcuts and buzzwords?
