July 22, 2005: The Islamic militants are trying to do some ethnic, and religious, cleansing in the Moslem south. The three southern provinces have a population of some 1.8 million, and only 360,000 of those are Buddhists (the religion of the majority of Thais, who are ethnically different from the Moslems, who are Malays). The terror campaign is having some success, as some ten percent of the southern Buddhists have left the south in the past six months. But many of the remaining Buddhists are arming and preparing to defend themselves, and stay in the south.
July 21, 2005: Soldiers raided a Moslem boarding school in the south, and arrested several instructors and students. The government believes that these schools have been the source of Islamic radicals and terrorists.
July 16, 2005: Three more men, all Moslems, were shot dead in the south. Moslems are targeted by the Islamic terrorists to encourage loyalty to the Islamic radical agenda. Most Moslems in the south are not in favor of the Islamic terrorist campaign, and have to be kept in line if the Islamic terrorists expect to succeed.

Interesting observations from here and the UK. Jihadists are enabled in the Muslim community by around a single digit % of the populace who support their actions. Gotta deport those clowns. But the jihadist tactics are aimed at cowing a larger segment of the populace, tens of percent, by Muslim on Muslim terror. Makes it really difficult to ferret out the murderers. Notice what happens to minorities in nearly EVERY Muslim dominated society. Not a good prospect for Europe 2050. The Muslim community and religion has a lot of self-cleansing to do if they wish to flourish.
