Thomas Friedman has a problem. Another excuse maker for Bush's faux-pas, he has this grandiose idea that everyone who's against more bombing and more killing (hey, there's no way out NOW) should be silenced.
Like if we all just shut up, the problem would go away. Or somehow get better.
That way the deadly silence would just be an observer of this mounting political problem that will lead to YEARS of violence and tension, and possibly another war.
Yup, he has the right idea allright.
Where did he learn the rules of Democracy 101?
