As for the article, from my own perspective at least, I can assure you that Boston, Mass was full of all sorts of in-shape, trim, well-groomed professionals who worked out frequently and voted lockstep Democrat -- or even Green. Small-town Kansas is full of GOP voters who are out of shape, wouldnt know where to find either a salad or a stairmaster, and who'd look like that Berkeley crowd if they took off their Elvis t-shirts.
