Apparently Islamic officials of the 2 groups issuing this unsubstantive fatwa have been linked to terrorist groups. Nowhere does the late to the 911 party fatwah state that jihad or jihadist behaviour is inappropriate. It's a deceptive PR game to calm the public, righteously outraged at the latest barbarism from the Jihadist wing of the RoP, a wing that mainstream Islam continues to coddle. Like Cardinal Law transferring pedophile priests, Islamic leaders would like to have us just ignore the problem and move on. Both groups put their church's welfare ahead of humanity's. Both deserve extreme disrespect for those involved AND for the enablers.
