I don't think it's a media conspiracy. In fact, I never did think there was such a thing as a "media conspiracy," in the sense of someone organizing a particular agenda. The media's liberal tilt is no more a conspiracy than if I invited fifty vegetarians at random from around the country to a pork barbecue, and interpreted their reactions as some kind of "anti-meat conspiracy."

The media's views tilt liberal because most of the people working in it are liberal. It's as simple as that.

I don't think the lack of coverage is due to some kind of anti-Bush thing. I think it's more complicated than that. On the other hand, it could be as simple as the fact that by the time people discovered that it had been a live grenade, the story's momentum had petered out.
