Perhaps I was hasty
Which is why I made sure to say "This is offered as advice," and to make sure my policeman's badge wasn't on while saying it.
Perhaps I should also have said, "... before somebody else really jumps all over you, which I don't want to see here." I don't want to see that anywhere, truth be told. Not here, not Off-Topic, or anywhere other than Flame.
So if I sounded harsh, I apologize, too. It was meant as a word to the wise.
