Take a look at this rock on top of Husband Hill!

It looks like the MER rover, SPIRIT, is within spittin' distance
of the top of Husband Hill in Gusev Crater, if it's not already
on top of the summit....

If not, my bet is that SPIRIT will reach the summit by AUGUST, 04.

But take a look at this "rock" [I call this rock, "Peanutbutter Sandwich"]!

The raw image is found on the MARS EXPLORATORIUM website,
for SPIRIT'S panoramic camera [JULY/31/05].

The URL is: 2p175988607esfad80p2.

The basaltic rock has plenty of visicles [nothing extraordinary about that],
but what is that goo or gummy-like material oozing out of the rock's middle layer?
