Processing stripes...

Hi LJK

The guy is a little daft - he thinks processing stripes are really in the images, actual patterns on the surface of Titan. That's kind of scary and almost as batty as the goof-ball who thought he could see fossil skeletons in every Mars-rover photo.

More seriously Chris McKay has suggested cryolife in liquid methane, while Dave Grinspoon has gone for lifeforms melting liquid ammonia/water from the ice itself. Any gas disequilibria will be a possible sign of life, thus the GCMS, and other instruments', data is being closely scrutinised.
