Here is a dreamer's solution to the shuttles biggest problem. Rip off all the fragile tiles and replace them with large pieces of unobtainium that can provide the thermal protection for re-entry and withstand a hit from a 100 lb chunk of ice at 500 miles an hr., and remove the foam from the ET.
