It started with impaired memory and cognitive abilities- leaving her scared and confused much of the time... it destroyed every part of the brain save those that allowed her to feel rage and fear- she lived like that for many years...

I visited an alzheimers ward at a nursing home- once... if I had to describe the epitome of hell, that was it. I walked out of there shaking.
