I'd rather spend more of my time gathering information than visiting boards and debating. I don't have time to post on multiple boards. This one has enough intellectual stimulation to match any social group I've been in other than my allstar highschool class's "geek squad" (roughly the 8 national merit finalists) or my grad school class. I prefer this to the ubertechnical space boards for 2 reasons. I think it's important to have a feel for the man on the street opinion and it is still mostly above that here. Secondly not actually working in the space field, I am frequently out of the loop on more professional boards. Something that could probably be remedied with time and effort, but I don't feel like sparing either at the moment.
