I was being slightly sarcastic, Raoul. The LRO will detect surface radiation levels and check for water ice as well as other ices at the poles of the Moon.
But, hey we could just add a booster to the Hubble and put it into a stable Lunar orbit and still use it here. 8-)
Porbably could still service it at 400 miles as well!
