Some stats...
If the Earth would have been 15,000 pixels wide per Dougs calculation (which sounds right), that's about 1.5km/pixel resolution -- from three times the Moon's distance! Not bad!
I hope they take such a shot before they get too far away. I'd love a very high resolution photo of a complete crescent Earth.
