re: Global Warming Again

Conclusion: Climate is largely beyond human control.

Humans can significantly alter local conditions. For instance, I wouldn't surprised if say Baghdag is significantly hotter because of urban condition and that making rather insignificant changes e.g. white roofs for instance, one could lower temperature in the summer a few degrees particularly in nite time. Land use such farming and logging and turning deserts into farmable land also have larger regional affect than compared to urban areas [because there are simpler larger land areas involved than urban areas].

Another conclusion is human civilization coincides with a warmer period in Earth history, and that most of Earth's recent history [geologically speaking [say less than 1 billion years]] has been much cooler than compared to the last 10,000 years. And according to what is known of stellar evolution over the very long timeframe [millions of years], our future Earth should get considerable warmer. But as we continue to venture into space, this pathway will ensure that over very large term humans will be able to significantly alter Earth's climate, thereby extending Earth's habitablity further into the future.
