False outrage isn't needed either. I see little difference between these parents and the extreme religious right who employ their children as hate placard holders condemning abortions or homosexuals.

Both sets of parents are probably about equally brain dead - only their ignorance is channeled to embarass opposite sides of the political spectrum.
