Perhaps a more balanced picture of Iraq is in order. You keep posting the "good news from Iraq" and the death tolls of US military is posted daily.
Neither the pep talk "good news," nor the tragic loss of American lives is giving a balanced picture of what is going on in Iraq. Perhaps the situation is too murkey for us to be able to get that picture.
Certainly, the exodus of Jews and Christians from Iraq cannot be counted in the column of "good news" events. Perhaps if we dropped the search for good news and reached out for real news we might attempt to develop a better understanding of what is happening over there and why we as a people should allow the continued sacrifice of our young men.
We are suffering tragedy at this time in our country. It would be pointless and supercilious to be posting the "Good News From New Orleans" as the looting, flooding and dying are going on.
A little less polarization and more analysis of trends and conditions might be in order.
