You can't change people by bombing them or taking away their leader.
Serbians haven't changed and Iraqis haven't changed. Serbians still hold the same prejudices long after our incursion, which is now just a bad memory.
Iraqis were mostly Shiites. Not surprisingly we are seeing the Iraqis behave in accordance with their beliefs and prejudices. Unlike Milosevic, Saddam never represented mainstream Iraqi beliefs.
Pretty simple isn't it? It's much more fun trying to compare apples and oranges though, right?
