As the flood waters began rising, a cop stopped in front of a man and asked him if he needed help.
"No, thanks. God will save me."
The waters kept rising and a boat came by, again asking if the man needed help.
"No, thanks. God will save me."
The waters kept rising and the man was stranded on his roof. A helicopter came by and asked him if he needed help.
"No, thanks. God will save me."
The waters kept rising, swept him off of his roof, and he drowned. When he stood before God, he asked why he wasn't saved.
God said, "I sent a cop, a boat, and a helicopter. What more did you want?"
The moral of the story is to take help when it was offered. It might be the answer to your prayers.
The second moral is that God answers all prayers. Sometimes, the answer is "No."
