Look, you partisan hacks... You have been asked IN THIS VERY DAMN THREAD to quit politicizing this tragedy by TWO moderators MULTIPLE times...

You want to use this tragedy to advance your agenda- FINE! do it elsewhere or another goddamn time. People are dying RIGHT NOW and you are using that fact to advance your political agenda.

You want to say Bush sucks? Fine, I agree 100% but using the slow deaths of 1000's to make that point is disgusting! It is pointless and is a blatant co-opting of tragedy to serve your own political agenda

You want to blame someone or something? Blame human nature- for decades politicians all over the spectrum, national and local could have worked harder to prepare for this... THEY DIDN'T, why? because it is human nature not to think long term... to avoid paying a large price now in the hopes that the truly horrible just wont happen...

So if you INSIST on exploiting this you damn well better do your research and name all the local and national administrators on BOTH sides of the political spectrum that could have done something about this in the past several decades.

The FACT is its pretty damn hard to prepare for the largest storm surge ever recorded in the US, it is not possible to prepare for nature at its worst.

NOW is not the time to be pointing fingers, when the time comes there will be PLENTY of blame to go around.
