From your brief comment, it sounds like we both noticed the blogger's comment that he's making a point of collecting the good news stories. Despite what I've had to say in the past about blogging as journalism, this is an entirely different context. There's a time to hold people's feet to the fire and demand rigorous objectivity; but then there are times like this, when people need to weave together good news, human-interest stories. It's part of a psychological healing process, and I think it's a good thing.

Keep these posts coming. They don't gather replies like they used to, but I know for a fact that people are reading them. People are keeping their heads down because things are a bit tense all over, and for now that's probably a good thing.
