With theoretical implications on powers of government. The Mayor of New Orleans has declared an obligatory evacuation order. However, the federalized national guard has declared it will not only not help to enforce this order, but will defy it by providing food and security to those residents that choose to resist it.
Tough situation to see the people caught up in a disaster to be further caught up in a power play as well. I guess this is just another chapter in the Saga of New Orleans to appear next season on HBO? Certainly this can't be a reality.
