What did he say?
Bush is a bad man. Republicans are bad. Why? They called Louisiana a city!
So will the democrats exist as a single party in 2008? I doubt it.

That last one is the main event. What we're seeing in this splintered left is a very weak majority mainstream and an empowered far left minority. The MSNBC mouthpiece, as he was bringing up elections, only reminded me that all 3 segments of government are in the hands of Republicans.
With two supreme court positions to fill, one who was a moderate, that will tilt the balance even further right in the Judicial Branch.
I guess if one has little to lose, one goes for this type of appeal. I suspect it plays well among the lower class and makes an appeal to the lower middle, but that's about it. But do democrats really need to reinforce their "default" voting bloc?
That's what the far left doesn't see. They're generally isolated from reality somewhat, live in enclaves like Berkeley, San Fran, Seattle, Greenwich Village and the similar places where their viewpoints are reinforced locally, but simply don't exist outside the enclave to any great degree. They mistake their local environment for the rest of the nation. They don't travel much and see that campus theatre doesn't carry the day when people go to the polls.
Clinton won because he made a mainstream appeal - the economy.
The far left gets off on this hate stuff, I have more proof of that than ever, and commentary like this fulfills the far-left emotional need for hate - but it doesn't have broad appeal to the middle middle class on up.(Basically those with an education who realize the commentator said absolutely nothing while babbling for five minutes and acting as though he revealed something great)
I seriously hope the left can get it's act together. If they keep this approach up, we'll soon have crosses on coins and other currency and Bush will replace Lincoln on the penny.
I'd miss Abe.
