The 7 Marvels of the Heavens
Ciel et Espace has juste published the results of a poll where readers were asked to choose the 7 most marvelous (or wonderful) objects in the heavens (no specific criteria other than 100 very well known objects selected by the magazine from which to choose).
1) Saturn
2) The Andromeda Galaxy
3) The Earth
4) The Sombrero Galaxy.
5) Eta Carina
6) The Horsehead Nebula.
7) The Orion Nebula.
Though they were selectable, neither the Moon nor Mars seem to have drawn their attention.
