Space/Science » in reply to Columbia Hills layers Mars rover summary

Good work, Aldo.

A nice synopsis; thanks for letting us know about it. Been too busy to keep up on the rovers of late. But when I can I've been through here and want to thank everyone for posting the most recent info, especially the pictures (a nod in Raoul's and Doug's direction). Neat stuff. I'm still musing on what I've seen lately, but don't have the time to put it into anything post-worthy.

Do Basaltic volcanics produce true pyroclastic flows? I'm still thinking on this. Home Plate may be a structural basin. Any papers that you know of that are discussing the structure of the hills? Any structure maps yet?

Keep up the good work!
