Christmas.
The first discussion is all about race and domestic policy. How on Earth can you say that the Bush administration is not aware of and using Rice's race, and putting he on the air because of her race, when the whole first part of the interview is about the impact of race on Bush's poll numbers? She's Secretary of State! If you have the Secretary of State as an interview subject, you talk about foreign affairs. Domestic affairs is not her area of expertise, unless you're figuring that because she's black she has insight into the whole black population. That "racial telepathy" thing doesn't support the premise that conservatives see people based on their individual characteristics rather than their group membership.
Later, they talk about Iran and Iraq, which is more pertinent. Iraq, at this point, would be more for Rumsfeld to address, but with Iran, at least, we are still using diplomacy, a function of the State Department.
Of course, it could have been O'Reilly being an ass, but you would think the White House publicity machine would have a clue about that, hmm? It's not like he hasn't been one every night.
