Although I'm happily ensconced in the Blue Ridge Mountains with a full belly, I can tell you I missed my connecting flight yesterday to Charlotte from Atlanta due to bad weather.
It was ROUGH getting out of Florida. Finally hitting the mainland of Georgia after getting off the peninsula of Florida; looking back you could see these HUGE BANDS almost a mile high being dragged from the warm waters of the Atlantic over to the warm waters of the Gulf. This is one reason why I'm here, getting out of the middle of those really hot coastal waters, looking for higher ground.
I toured the Deltec construction plant when I got in today, and start property hunting tomorrow. A round home seems so much more practical than these square mounts that look like Mother Nature could take apart in a really good breath. Plus, the mountains are sooo soothing.
It's hard to believe that another huge hurricane is hitting the Gulf so soon after Katrina. I saw GWBush biting his lip. There goes his game.
Is this cosmic justice? Is Mother Nature intelligent?
I mean.........really!
