Hi LJK
Nice to see he pays attention to criticism. I still think his ideas are suspect because they're ideologically driven - basically he thinks it's against cosmic optimism/Marxism to admit any finitude to the Universe - and his last clutch of arguments were wrong even before the latest round of results and observations. SO the burden of proof is on his shoulders for his extraordinary claim - he didn't pull it off last time, and he misread the data badly, so I'm dubious he'll succeed. The Big Bang is a high parsimony explanation while Lerner's "tired light" needs a lot of tweaking to explain all the relevant data. He complains of theoretical epicycles but "tired light" can be tweaked far easier than CDM and the CMB.
