The Republican party must be sooo proud, Bill Frist has pulled a Martha Stewart and preznit Bush's former roomie might have been let go as head of FEMA, but has emerged from the ashes as a paid consultant to that same government agency.

Mike Brown not only landed on his feet but got there with a consultancy fee. Republicans have no shame, nor do they seem to have any sense of propriety. Frist is spinning his stock sale as his attempt to avoid the appearance of a conflict of interest. Makes me wonder a bit about why this conflict wasn't apparent previously? Are we to accept it was just "good luck"that Frist dumped his stock in his family controlled company the week before the stock tanked?
