Think what you want almighty. I'll think what I want.
The nature of the post on that thread was to me, a dig on the right-wing. And so you can say I'm thinking for you again, I can imagine a smirk when you decided to use 'ape.'
For one thing this persistent howling of the big comment of Brown makes me think you are bias when there are far more failures to hash out.
The reporting on the convention center was not all over the media as you are saying, in fact Fox only had one report on it, CNN and MSNBC only had two minutes combined and ABC didn't report on it at all prior to Brown's press briefing. The first reporting from CNN on the convention center was from Paula Zahn's 9PM show on 8/31.
This is the following day is from the CNN archives;
BROWN (9/1/05 4PM): We're aware of the situation in the Convention Center. There are approximately 5,000 people in the Convention Center, and food and water is being delivered to them also. We're continuing the same type of efforts in Mississippi and Alabama.
18 hours later Brown made the above statement and it's his fault the 2600 FEMA employees spread all over the country weren't watching TV so they new what to do.
Give me a break. You think it's Brown's fault he didn't know sooner yet the local government should have contacted FEMA when they decided to use the Convention Center.
I like this one;
Governor Blanco's communications director, Mr. Mann, said that she was frustrated that Mr. Brown and others at FEMA wanted itemized requests before acting. "It was like walking into an emergency room bleeding profusely and being expected to instruct the doctors how to treat you," he said.
Hillarious, you would think the communications director would know how to communicate.
Oh, but hey, it's all Browns fault for not reading the local governments mind, I mean watching TV so he would know what to do.
Here's another insult for you DL.
I think that if Blanco and Nagin were republicans it would have been your main topic and you would be blasting them for days.
