Why are they spending time on this?
The fires must be Bush's fault.
Likewise the bandwidth dedicated to Shark Attacks! or Missing White Women! must also be Bush's fault. Else, why spend so much time on it?
Or if not, then one could feasibly assume that much of the media are incompetent sensationalists who print/broadcast bad news........
