re: On the surface of another world

Years after the first moonlanding, I managed to record the entire moonwalk on various channels that had kept the events (usually during an anniversary of the event) and on the belgian channel, the french channel and the german channel, invariably, the respective commentator at one point said: "Just think we are seeing images transmitted from another world...can you imagine we're seeing live images from the Moon?"

I didn't see those images live but heard the comments on a radio;and during later missions, I was very much amazed to see the astronauts walking live the way they did, kicking dust that behaved an impossible way.
They were on the surface of another world.

And to fully grasp the event, we'd need movements and video transmissions. Robots can do that too.

That's what fun about space exploration! New worlds to visit, our own to see from further away, and so much more to see for the first time like a small crater on Hyperion, a cliff on Tethys, a partial solar eclipse from Mars, a comet colliding with a gaseous planet, etc....
It's limitless.
