Some commentary on Miers from another Texas woman.
Yep, you guessed it.
"Miers, like Bush himself, is classic Texas conservative Establishment, with the addition of Christian fundamentalism. What I mean by fundamentalist is one who believes in both biblical inerrancy and salvation by faith alone. "
It seems like Miers is a shoo-in, unless the "Inject Priscilla Owen into SCOTUS ASAP" lobby gets their way and blocks her nomination. Remember Priscilla Owen? One of two nominees for Federal Judge that almost broke the senate, another high pressure injection operation.
