Not a bad architecture. The use of oxygen-ethanol and oxygen-methane fuels look good, and the CEV design is pretty good.
But it appears that they're stuck for what to do there, in other words, why anyone would be willing to pay for it.
What the architecture lacks is a rendevouse station in lunar orbit for fuel and cargo transfer. This not only improves capabilities, it makes possible international cooperation, and international cost sharing.
The architecture also lacks landing frames for heavy cargo delivery.
The architecture also lacks the enclosed long duration rovers necessary for construction.
The reason these issues were not examined was because the architecture evolved as a simple test of manned Mars systems.
I expect that these gentlemen will discover the reason, the only compelling reason, for returning to the Moon within the next year.
