Quite a few, actually.

Why not just go to the short leftist version, and say that only pain inflicted by the U.S. and the West counts? That's the way it was back then, too.

After Vietnam, the Left firmly ignored the deaths, the re-education camps, the desperate boat people, the acts of genocide, and the other consequences of the failure that they, and the Congress that killed the aid to South Vietnam, had engineered. And then there was Cambodia.

The goals of the "peace movement" back then were as obvious as they are now, and concern for the Vietnamese people had nothing to do with it any more than the modern "peace movement" gives a rat's ass about what would happen to the Iraqis if we withdrew.

In all the marches, in all the protests, I have yet to see one, single sign out of the thousands demanding that the Islamist terrorist bombings stop, either in Iraq or Israel. Not one sign, demanding that the killing of innocents by those people be stopped.

Whatever this is about, it isn't about "peace."
