I don't think public school...
...is the right place for teaching Christianity nor for teaching that Christianity is false (or for teaching worship of the devil or whatever they are going on about concerning the Harry books). Both sets of books belong in public school, in my opinion.
On the other hand, I would certainly hate to see any curricula based on these books to support any of the stuff in paragraph 1.
