An amazing concept but

likely to be only sparingly used - it will take out observing time from 6 major international scopes, each of which is essentially fully booked.

The big issue will be the testing and debugging time when no really fundamentally new images will be obtained, but "conventional" observing time will be lost.

After that, new and fantastic images should emerge that justify the diversion of resources but I'm sure that this will be a a minor use of the facilities, rather than a major one (And there will be partial match-ups of 2, 3, or 4 scopes that give nearly as good results, but still leave 2 or 3 of the instruments for other observation programmes).
