939, built the computer last Feb.

I tried Linux at the time. Threw in a separate hard drive for it, and did my damnedest. No matter which version I tried I just didn't know enough to get it up and running.

All I wanted was a browser, word processor, and picture processing, and I couldn't make stuff do it.

Still have the HD in there, if you know of any version a somewhat disillusioned, retarded guy could make come up with the basics without going through arcane divisions of I don't know what into I don't know what I'd try again.
