Making clickable links is as easy as falling off an asteroid. :-) If you take the trouble to cut and paste the link, then typing a few more characters around it is no trouble at all. Take your example:
http://www.space.com/businesstechnology/technology/051019_ipd.html
Now, add a few more characters before and after as follows:
(a href="http://www.space.com/businesstechnology/technology/051019_ipd.html")Cool space link.(/a)
Next, just replace the ( with < and the ) with > and it will automatically render as live HTML, like this:
Cool space link.
