Our goal should be to establish a stable democratic country in Iraq, but if the Iraqis prove to be so inept as to be unable to create a viable state and insist on fighting a civil war, then we should hope that the conflict spreads into an all out sectarian blood bath. By pulling the right strings, we could draw in Iran (the most powerful country in the region), Saudi Arabia (the richest) and every other Islamic nation. It would degenerate into a total battle royal of the Islamic world, shaking the rotten regimes to their very foundations. If we play our cards right, not a single mosque would be left standing from Morocco to Malaysia. The poor bastards would be too consumed with hatred fighting each other to consider carrying out terrorist strikes against the West. Well it's just a thought.
