Space/Science » in reply to Opportunity is seeing smaller Blue-Berries. What does that mean?

Opportunity moved to areas preserving later and smaller impacts

Note carefully that there is not one impact geologist anywhere near the rover control teams.

This has happened despite the fact that impact craters are the most common feature on Mars.

One result of these science decisions is that the rover data is virtually useless in establishing any reliable dating.
