Robert Clark? You have been vindicated!

Remember the strong defence of your hypothesis
that the muddy-looking lump found by the MER rover, Spirit,
shortly after landing on Mars [Jan/2004] was in fact [according to you]
Mars MUD?
Nick Hoffman fiercely attacked your hypothesis.
I compromised, arguing that a highly saline, 'gummy' lump of moist martian soil was possible.

WELL, ROBERT?
;-)
A University of Arkansas researcher has INDEED created long-lasting MUD in a laborator simulating martian atmospheric and temperature conditions.

ROBERT? You can tell Nick to eat your shorts. He he he heh!....;-)
