ANWR drilling
Yeah, I noticed that. If this last election was useful for anything, it pointed out those Republicans that will run away widdling down their legs at the sign of any political difficulty.
I have no idea where ANWR is going to end up. The Senate/House interplay is complicated. I think it's important to pass that in more ways than the simple oil supply. We need to show the oil market that we're willing to exploit domestic resources.
Unfortunately, this long ago stopped being about ANWR for the Democrats, and is mostly now about keeping the Republicans from having a victory.
