Last night, shortly after starting up the laser I went outside the K2 control room to see it going up into the sky- while I was outside I was looking up and saw a bright flash in the sky at an elevation of about 70 degrees, it looked like the strobe running lights of a plane... I was surprised that the airplane spotters had not mentioned it... I kept watching but the flash did not happen immediately as one would expect from an air plane- instead it happened about 6 seconds later- bright white, no red or green just white... very fast and very bright- It had moved a small distance from the first flash... I kept watching and after a long delay another flash, slightly dimmer... after a few more flashes there was one final stuttering dim flash and then nothing more...

It wasnt a plane, I think what I saw was a rotating satellite that-as it rotated- was catching the sun in just the right way to be visible as a brief bright flash...

Anyone else seen something like this?
