The Bushies, fundamental Christians and the weapons industry, need to make China a threat so as to raise money and sell more "stuff".
And the way Bush has acted has left much of the world looking to China and/or a China/Russia alliance as a counterbalance to US aggression.
So, they're making China a superpower.
Watch the conservatives start to demonize China on cue from Cheney and Rumsfeld. Mindlessly.
