re: The celestial dance of the Moon and Mars
has been quite a display all week. Early evening, twilight, we have both Mars and Venus in the sky, and for a couple of days, Mars, Venus and Moon were in the sky all at once. Mars is bright, but not nearly as bright as Venus, which is much more dazzling. We have a lot of city light pollution, so the color of Mars is washed out unless you find a relatively dark site (no easy task close by) or sight through trees as I can do in my own yard, which will bring out the color of Mars easily.
Glad you're sharing your observations!
