It has announced its intention to overthrow the governments of Egypt, Arabia, and all the rest of the Arab nations that are considered to be lackies of the USA. These governments responded by applying their intelligence services to the task of rooting out Al Qaeda operatives, sympathizers and financial supporters.

Now it has alienated the Jordanians, who had been sympathetic to Al Qaeda. Al Qaeda has recently stated that it did NOT attack civilians at the weddings in Jordan. (OK, now who did it attack at the weddings?)

If Al Qaeda's policy of blatant stupidity continues unabated, I see it shriveling up into total insignificance rather soon, say in the next two to three years.
