Oh boy, talk about feeding at the trough.
Can our actions there ever be honorable?
Forget Chalabi.
Forget Haliburton's no bid contracts or missing billions.
Let's look at the guy who was hired by a now-defunct Pentagon agency to rebuild parts of Iraq.
>Robert Stein, controller and financial officer for the U.S. occupation authority in Iraq served prison time for felony fraud in the 1990s. He had control over $82 million in cash earmarked for Iraqi rebuilding projects. Stein and his wife received "bribes, kickbacks and gratuities amounting to at least $200,000 per month" ........
Uh huh, and those guys at the Pentagon, they KNOW what they're doing. i
It's called "feeding at the trough...a free-for-all"
Disgusting, I wonder who hired this guy. Obviously background checks aren't necessary when the money is flowing.>
